This topic contains information about installing Dekoh Desktop on Windows, Linux and Mac OS operating systems. Dekoh Desktop installs through a Java applet installation system.

Prior to installing Dekoh Desktop, please verify that your system meets:

Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements are:

  • Any hardware platform that supports Java, with minimum 512 MB RAM

Software Requirements

Please check the Platforms supported by Dekoh.

Installation Steps

  1. Open your browser and go to www.dekoh.com. Sign up to receive a mail. Use the link provided to confirm the sign up and download “Dekoh Desktop”.
  2. This starts installing Dekoh Desktop on your machine.
  3. If you do not have Java Runtime Environment installed, the applet prompts you to install the same and then installs the required update after you click Accept. If you are a developer, and want to develop your applications on Dekoh, you should have installed JDK.
  4. After you have completed installing Java, restart the browser.
  5. The applet starts the installation process, and places all the extracted components under the installation directory.
  6. Dekoh Desktop is installed. You can now verify the installation on your machine.

  • Windows -> C:/Dekoh
  • Mac -> Users/<your user name>/Dekoh
  • Linux and variants -> <your home directory>/Dekoh
