Collaborative editing of resources?

Hi,

I'm very interested in frameworks that make offline ajax applications possible. I have a specific question:

From your text on privacy and security I learned that there are the two default roles "owner" and "viewer". So I assume, that per default, only the creator of the digital asset can change it, right?

My question is: Is there a (non-default) way for non-owners to edit the asset? So for example I could start a text document, invite a buddy to it, and we could continue to work on this document collaboratively (like in the zoho text processor). Of course this would require a concept for synchronizing changes that were made offline.

Is it possible for a Dekoh application to allow collaborative editing and is there a concept for merging this content?

Thanks in advance!
